Oleic Acid 75% Min - Vegetable-Origin C18:1 Fatty Acid

Oleic Acid 75% Min is a commercial vegetable-origin fatty-acid grade containing at least 75% C18:1 oleic acid. Oleic Acid itself is a monounsaturated C18 fatty acid with CAS 112-80-1 and molecular formula C₁₈H₃₄O₂.

Mars Oleochemicals identifies palm oil, palm-kernel oil and coconut oil among the vegetable feedstocks for its Oleic Acid 75% grade. The current specification describes the product as a pale-yellow liquid with C18:1 content of at least 75%.

Oleic Acid 75% is widely used as a raw material for oleate esters, lubricants, metalworking fluids, soaps, surfactants, metallic soaps, corrosion inhibitors and other specialty chemical derivatives. Its unsaturated C18 structure provides valuable functionality across numerous industrial formulations.
