Refined Glycerine 99.7% USP - Vegetable Origin

Refined Glycerine 99.7% is a high-purity commercial grade of glycerol used across pharmaceutical, cosmetic, personal-care, food and industrial applications. Glycerol has the molecular formula C₃H₈O₃, CAS number 56-81-5, and is chemically identified as propane-1,2,3-triol.

Natural glycerine can be produced as a co-product during the processing of vegetable fats and oils into fatty acids or fatty-acid methyl esters. After purification and refining, high-purity glycerine can be produced for demanding commercial applications.

Glycerine's hygroscopic properties make it highly useful as a humectant where moisture retention is important. Its excellent compatibility with water and many formulation ingredients also makes glycerine useful as a solvent, carrier and viscosity-supporting ingredient in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and industrial products.
